I’m currently away in Norway for one of my best friends special occasion, her wedding day. She’s the first of my friends to get married and she’s a dear friend I met at uni. Myself and all our ‘uni crew’ are spending a long weekend in Norway and importantly attending her big day on Saturday. Given it’s such a special occasion it seemed like the perfect opportunity to buy myself a new dress …

I’ve been eyeing up Needle and Threads collection since my sister discovered the incredible brand earlier this year. I love beads, I love embellishment and i love shift dresses and given Needle & Threads entire collection pretty much encompasses these three styles it was basically love at first sight.

The brand is extremely high quality and because of the detail and work that goes into their dresses they are very expensive, so for months and months i’ve been admiring them from afar. However as fate would have it, despite this dress costing £220 … with a cheeky ASOS sale on my side i managed to save nearly 2/3 of the cost and get myself a serious deal. I’m not sure how i managed to ONLY buy this one dress from their range (there were so many i’d been eyeing up for changes in the sale), but i’m so glad i can finally add at least one Needle & Thread item to my wardrobe, plus most importantly have a perfect dress for my friends big day.
